Below are all the most Frequently Asked Questions that I receive, if you have a question for me please message me via the form below, you will not be the first one to ask.

From my private members gym in Catterick: 

Unit 4, De Burgh Court, Walkerville Industrial Estate, Catterick Garrison, DL9 4XB.

This is a private members gym exclusive to my clients (people ages 50+).

From this facility, I run private 1-1 Personal Training and SGPT – Small Group Personal Training session (between 4-8 people per class).

This private gym is not open to “day passes” or to just anyone, you have to be a clients in order to use the facility. 

If you’d like to join, please book in for a FREE consultation. 

You can either invest in a monthly package or an annual package.

Payments will be taken on a monthly basis via Stripe – you don’t need to worry about setting anything up. Once you sign up as a client and have been enrolled onto our booking system, I will then input your payment details.

Your payment will come out on the day you sign up and will renew itself on a monthly basis.

If you decide to pay for the year upfront, your money will come out on the day you sign up and then again a year later unless you state otherwise. 

The power is in your hands. Once you sign up you can book up to 8 coaching sessions a month. You can book onto all 8 straight away or just one or two. 

It’s worth noting that there is a “use it or lose it” policy. If you don’t use all 8 coaching session before your month finishes, then they will expire and you do not get to carry them over to the next month.

Then the following month, you will receive 8 new sessions onto your account. 

The private 1-1 Personal training times are very limited due to being booked up, please request a call to discuss what times and days I have available.

With the Small Group Personal Training (SGPT) classes, there are set at certain times each day:

Open Gym Access is 8-9am and 1-2:30pm (this is where you can train in the gym on your own without my guidance). 

SGPT classes are on Monday – Thursday at: 9-10am, 10:30-11:30am, 2:30-3:30pm and 4-5pm.

Coaching session will be 1 hour sessions, which includes warm up, the workout and cool down. 

Yes, I’m there with you every step of the way during training sessions. Ill need to keep an eye on your form and performance during sessions so that I can coach you and motivate you along the way.

No, not unless you want me to. Everyone works and is motivated in different ways. I will adapt to my clients needs and preferences.

I have a variety of kit such as: dumbbells, barbells, plates, kettlebells, slam balls, battle rope, speed ropes, boxing gloves & pads, barbells & plates, suspension trainers, resistant bands and more.

Of course, its first come – first served with bookings so if you’d like a morning session and an afternoon session, then go for it!

Although, if you are new to fitness I will advise against this as your body will need sufficient time to rest and recover. This is probably more suited for those who are training for events or have a year or more exercise experience.

No, I work from my own gym.

 

I have always kept an open and friendly chat about this. People come and go in this Industry and thats okay! Im not shy when it comes to a clients leaving because it means they’ve achieved what they wanted.

But here are some things to take note of should you choose to join:

Once you have signed up and payment has been taken, there will be no refund – even if you change your mind. 

If you provide me with the required 1 months notice to cancel your membership, then I will cancel any future payments. However, if you do not provide me with 1 months notice, and a payment is taken, there will be no refund. 

If you book onto a coaching session but then can’t make it, then as long as you give 24hours notice – you will be able to reclaim your coaching session. 

If you cancel within 24 hours of your booked time slot, you will lose the coaching session. 

This is to discourage last minute cancellations, to keep maximum accountability and because the classes are semi-private and therefore spaces are limited. 

Ive weight lifted my since I was 18, then I became a qualified PT in 2017. Then I worked in a gym for 3 years and have been self-employed since. 

No, you don’t. If you wish to then I can guide you on how to do this and I will always suggest healthy food alternatives but no one wants to count calories for the rest of their lives. 

I will encourage eating REAL FOODS most of the time and I won’t sugar coat any advice that you ask for.

At the end of the day, I am here to help you lead a healthier and happier lifestyle, but it needs to be sustainable and more importantly, ENJOYABLE! We also talk in depth about Nutrition and other areas in your life such as sleep, water, stress levels, etc…
